Our Name Story

Do you know where our name Dashi Rivers comes from?

Learn the story from our founder David Kennedy himself:

“I distinctly remember the moment we received my son Dash’s official diagnosis of ASD, and the mixture of emotions that came with it. All families searching for ABA services have lived this too.

I was relieved to have answers, yet I grieved the hardships I knew would lay ahead for my son. On top of these emotions, we suddenly had to become experts on a condition we knew very little about. All the while, we were becoming accustomed to behaviors that could wear our patience thin and even bring us to tears.

Through these challenges, I became determined to not only fight to give my child the best life possible, but to also fight for all the other children and parents living through this. I wanted to build an autism care company where these families would never feel alone in their fight again, because we would be here with them.

As a parent of a child with Autism Spectrum Disorder, I created Dashi Rivers to establish an ABA Therapy service that is dedicated and focused on each child’s individual development. In addition to that, our goal is to create a meaningful partnership with parents and caregivers throughout the whole treatment process, in order to support the entire family.”
